KATHMANDU, July 1: Ncell launched its fourth generation (4G) long term evolution (LTE) service in Pokhara and Damauli on Saturday as part of its target to make 4G accessible to 15 percent of population within 2017.
Issuing a press statement, Ncell said it has expanded mobile broadband service under its vision to contribute to 'Digital Nepal'.
According to the statement, Ncell subscribers of Pokhara and Damauli, who have 4G SIM (U-SIM) with 4G compatible handset are able to use this service.
On the occasion of the official launch of 4G service, the company has announced to provide free music download service through Yonder Music app for 30 days to customers who use data service through Ncell's 4G SIM.
Customer can dial *324# to enable 4G service and 30 days of free Yonder Music.
In line with the introduction of the 4G/LTE service, Ncell has also brought weekly combo pack 'One Plan'.
Under this plan, customers have to pay Rs 150 or Rs 300 or Rs 500 to get data, talk time and SMS volume, as per their requirements.
