Additionally, the 66 KV Syuchatar-Patan transmission line will undergo a temporary suspension from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, while the 66 KV Syuchatar-K3 line will be offline from 3 PM to 5 PM on the same day, according to the NEA.

As a result of these shutdowns, power supply in various areas of Kathmandu and Lalitpur may be affected. The temporary halt of the 66 kV Syuchatar-Teku transmission line will impact the ring main under the Kuleshwar distribution center, as well as Tahachal, Chamati feeder, 66 kV under Pulchok distribution center, Pulchowk, Bagmati, Ring Road, Bhaisepati feeders, and feeders under Ratnapark Distribution Center supplied from Teku Substation, K3 Substation, and related switching stations (Thapathali, Sundhara, K2). Temporary power cuts may occur during peak load periods.

Similarly, feeders under the Pulchowk and Lagankhel distribution centers supplied from Patan substation via the 66 KV Suchatar-Patan transmission line will experience potential power interruptions during peak load periods.

NEA has assured that it will make every effort to minimize the impact on regular power supply through alternative arrangements. In the event that work is completed before the scheduled time, the affected transmission lines will be reactivated accordingly.
