Nepal chasing 154 runs target against Malaysia

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Nepal is chasing a 154 runs target set by Malaysia in its third match of the ongoing ACC U-19 Asia Cup in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Nepal is chasing a 154 runs target set by Malaysia in its third match of the ongoing ACC U-19 Asia Cup in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Sunday.



Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Malaysia was all out at 153 runs in 44.4 overs. Virandeep Singh contributed 75 runs off 118 balls hitting seven fours. Muhammad Hasif and Saif Ullah Malik scored 21 and 11 runs respectively.



Aadil Khan of Nepal took three wickets as Sandeep Lamichhane and Dipendra Singh Airee grabbed two wickets each.



Nepal has already suffered two consecutive defeats in the tournament at the hands of Sri Lanka and India.
