KATHMANDU, Nov 24: The 13th meeting of the Nepal-European Union Joint Commission started on Wednesday.

The meeting focusing on the development assistance provided by the EU to Nepal in the next six years in a multiannual financial framework will discuss various issues of mutual interest. Issues related to civil aviation security, review of progress of previous meetings, current situation and partnership in different aspects will be the major discussion among the delegates representing the two sides.
Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Poudyal is leading the Nepali delegation in the meeting. The Nepali side is expected to emphatically raise the issue of lifting restrictions imposed on Nepali aviation service in the skies of European countries.
