KATHMANDU, Nov 26: Nepal has bagged 'The Country of The Year Award 2019' being recognized as Asia’s best nation for mountaineering adventures at the Top Asia Corporate Ball 2019.
Ambassador of Nepal to Malaysia, Uday Raj Panday received the award from Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia YB Tuan Muhammad Bakhtar bin Wan Chik at a special ceremony held at Shangri-La Hotel of Kuala Lumpur on November 22.

The ceremony was graced by various ministers, royalties, CEOs of reputed companies, business owners and personalities across Asia, according to a press release issued by Nepali Embassy in Malaysia.
The rank was confirmed by carrying out various research surveys on Asian Countries among 5 shortlisted countries for the category of “Asia’s Best Nation for Mountaineering Adventures”.
