KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Nepal defeated India 2-0 in the AFC U19 Championship Qualifiers at Chonburi Stadium in Thailand. For Nepal, Rekha Poudel scored one goal in the 59th minute to untie the goalless draw in the first half.
She again scored another goal just two minutes before umpire whistled ending the 90 minutes match, leading to Nepal's victory.

With the triumph, Nepal has got three points. The top two winners will qualify for the second round. Nepal is placed in Group 'B' alongside India, Pakistan and Thailand. Nepal will play its last group match against Pakistan on October 28.
