KATHMANDU, July 17: The 'Nepal University Bill, 2080' was presented in the House of Representatives (HoR) on Sunday.
Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Ashok Kumar Rai, presented the bill that originated in the National Assembly in HoR, seeking to consider the Bill. The HoR meeting unanimously endorsed the proposal.

The lawmakers participating in deliberation of the bill were Raghu Ji Pant, Arjun Narsing KC, Prem Suwal, Gagan Kumar Thapa, Devendra Paudel, Bidya Bhattarai, Gyanu Basnet Subedi, Sishir Khanal, Rajendra Prasad Lingden, Amrit Lal Rajbansi, Sarita Bhushal, Thakur Prasad Gaire, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, and Sumana Shrestha, among others.
