NEPALGUNJ, Sept 20: Upgrading process of Nepalgunj Airport has been forwarded along with preparation of operation of Nepalgunj-Delhi flight.
The terminal, parking, waiting room and canteen are being constructed at the Nepalgunj Airport.

Director at Nepalgunj Office of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Premnath Thakur, said that preparation was underway to construct domestic and international terminals and to expand the existing runway 300 meters to the west and 200 meters to the east for facilitating landing and takeoff of big aircraft.
Activities were on to prepare a model for airport upgrading, added Thakur. Similarly, the eatery run by the Nepal Army at the airport area has been vacated. RSS
