BIRGUNJ, Dec 27: A tanker driver was looted after he was shot on left leg by an unidentified gang in Raxaul of India on Tuesday morning.



Tanker driver Tularam Upadhyay of Amlekhgunj-4, was heading for Pokhara from Barauni of India after filling the tanker, Na 5 Kha 8845, when the incident took place.

The gang looted 4,500 Indian currency notes from the driver after thrashing him, said SP Govinda Kumar Shah of Parsa district.


Police have stated that driver Upadhyay's health condition is out of danger. RSS
