Nepali youth awaits Guinness World Records for most cloves of garlic eaten in a minute

KATHMANDU, Jan 1: A 23-year-old man hailing from Kailali district reckons that he has broken the record of most cloves of garlic eaten in a single minute.



Bharat Bista ate 42 cloves of garlic during the time in a press conference held in Capital on Sunday, which he claims is against the record achieved by an American national of eating 36 cloves of garlic at the same time.

The record of the garlic eating during the press conference will be sent to the Guinness World Records officials for the registration and accreditation, shared Bista.


Responding to the queries of the journalists on reason behind his successful attempt, he replied, "I am habitual to eating garlic during my meals."


Bista is also eyeing to record his name in the Guinness World Records by fastest spelling of words from backward and the dexterity. RSS
