One of the leading folk-rock bands of Nepal, Nepathya released the music video of ‘Sirma Ribbon’ via their official YouTube channel on Sunday.

According to the video’s description, ‘Sirma Ribbon’ is a folk tune from Pasgaon, Lamjung. “Found the taste of Gandaki, this song shares the story of the local lady of Lamjung. It depicts her sadness.”
“I listened to this tune from my mother when I was growing up,” Amrit Gurung, the front man of Nepathya said in a press statement released by Nepa-laya. “My mom used to hum this song. I still remember hearing this tune in Pokhara. And on my visit in Lamjung after several years, I remember one lady singing this song to me. That touched my heart.”
