KATHMANDU, Nov 6: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Sunday escalated 43.2 points to close at 1,965.36 points.
The market opened at 1,922.16 points and followed an upward graph throughout the trading hours. The daily turnover amount stood at Rs 1.54 billion, which was 72 percent more than the amount on the previous trading day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of the blue chip companies also gained 8.09 points. Except for mutual fund, the remaining trading groups saw a rise in their average market values. Microfinance gained the largest of 196.2 points.
Among individual companies, NESDO Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha had the largest transactions of its shares worth Rs 101.49 million. Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha was the topmost gainer while Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited Promoter shares lost the largest percent in its market price.
