New leprosy patients in Palpa

PALPA, Feb 4: A total of 13 new patients of leprosy have been found in the district, the District Public Health Office said.

PALPA, Feb 4: A total of 13 new patients of leprosy have been found in the district, the District Public Health Office said.

The number of leprosy patients taking drugs has reached 13 in the district so far and of them eight patients have completed drugs, the DPHO said.  


According to office source, about 15/16 new patients annually appear in the district.  The government aims to eliminate the disease by 2020.RSS
