KATHMANDU, March 7: NIC Asia Capital Ltd, a sister company of NIC Asia Bank Ltd, started operation on Monday.

President of Securities Board of Nepal (Sebon) Rewat Bahadur Karki and President of NIC Asia Bank Jagadish Prasad Agrawal jointly inaugurated the merchant banker amid a function on Sunday.
Issuing a statement, NIC Asia Capital said that it has already received permission from the Sebon to operate as a merchant banker. NIC Asia Capital has total paid-up capital of Rs 100 million.
