​​NICCI Vice President KC pays a courtesy call on Gujarat Chief Minister Patel

KATHMANDU, March 1: Vice President of Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industries (NICCI) Sunil KC paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister of Gujarat, India, Bhupendra Rajanikant Patel on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, March 1: Vice President of Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industries (NICCI) Sunil KC paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister of Gujarat, India, Bhupendra Rajanikant Patel on Tuesday. 



During the meeting held at his official residence of Chief Minister Patel in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Vice Chairman KC held discussion about promoting both private and government investment in Nepal and further expand business and trade cooperation between Nepal and India, according to NICCI Secretariat.

Chief Minister Patel said that his government is always ready to enhance bilateral relations between Nepal and India in line with the friendly relations subsisting between the two countries for centuries. During the meeting, Chief Minister Patel also said that his government is willing to make investments in hydropower, renewable energy, information communication technology and infrastructure development in Nepal. 


According to Vice President KC, Chief Minister Patel has accepted an invitation to attend Nepal-India Partnership Summit being in Nepal in his capacity as a special guest. There was also an agreement to form Ahmedabad-Kathmandu Business Forum in both Kathmandu and Gujarat to promote cooperation and bring investors of both the countries together.
