RAJBIRAJ, April 15: A fire at Porta VDC – 6 in Saptari has gutted properties worth Rs 1.5 million.
The fire started from a spark in a thresher machine belonging to Satayadev Paghaiya Yadav and spread to his residence and three other houses, Area Police Office, Bhardaha said.
The fire destroyed food commodities, clothes, crockery and cash worth Rs 1.5 million, District Police Office said. The fire was taken under control with help of fire engines dispatched from Rajbiraj, local residents and police. RSS
