Das Avatar Exhibition and Promotion Society held a press meets on Friday at Maru, Kathmandu, to inform the withdrawal of the ‘Das Avatar Dance’ during the upcoming Indra Jatra festival.The society declared the lack of adequate budget, to manage the six artists and 50 crew members, as the major reason for removing the performance this year.

Das Avatar Exhibition and Promotion Society was established in 2060 BS for the promotion and management of the show. Quoting a member of the society, Rajendra Shrestha, the press release stated that the society would be unable to continue the show without allocation of time-appropriate budget.
