Acharya said that if the issues included in the letter sent on behalf of the NRNA to the Prime Minister and the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers were addressed, the investment climate in Nepal would be strengthened and the foreign exchange reserves would also increase.

The association has suggested the need to take initiatives for the establishment of Nepali embassies and diplomatic missions in countries with a large presence of non-resident Nepalis. The NRNA has requested to formulate policies and programs for the provision of knowledge, skills and capital to start a new business for the livelihood of non-resident Nepalis returning to the country.

Furthermore, Acharya said that the association has suggested making a policy and program with the commitment to make a law and implement it immediately for granting non-resident Nepalis citizenship as per the provision in the constitution of Nepal 2015.
