DHANGADI, Oct 5: The government has launched a special program from Kailali for the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases. 



Minister for Health Gagan Kumar Thapa today inaugurated the 'Noncommunicable Disease Prevention and Control Program' amidst a ceremony and pledged to spread it to other districts after taking into account its result and success.

Dr Mohamad Daud, Director of Primary Health Revitalization Division under the Department of Health Services, shed light on the objectives and the worth of the program.


Health Services Department Director General, Dr Pushpa Chaudhary, said 60 per cent of the total deaths caused by diseases resulted from noncommunicable diseases. RSS
