KATHMANDU, Feb 6: Two groups of the Nepal Students Union at Minbhawan Campus pelted stones at each other on Monday.



A large number of police were mobilized when there was a fight between the establishment and the rival faction of the NSU.

"After the stone pelting, we have deployed teams from other units of police. We are trying to control the situation," said SP Dinesh Mainali of District Police Complex, Kathmandu.


The students of the Shekhar-Gagan faction held a meeting at the Minbhawan Campus. Dharmaraj Shahi, the student leader of the Shekhar faction, said that the clash occurred after the establishment faction attacked them during the meeting.
