NT giving 51 percent cash dividend

KATHMANDU, March 14: The 9th annual general meeting of Nepal Telecom (NT) has approved a proposal to provide 51 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the profit earned in the Fiscal Year 2015/2016.

KATHMANDU, March 14: The 9th annual general meeting of Nepal Telecom (NT) has approved a proposal to provide 51 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the profit earned in the Fiscal Year 2015/2016.



The AGM also decided to amend its regulation, a statement issued by NT said.  Issuing a statement, NT said that it profited Rs 13.68 billion in the last fiscal year.

Similarly, it managed to increase number of customers by 15.65 percent. Speaking at the AGM, President of NT’s board of directors and Secretary at Ministry of Information and Communications, Mahendra Man Gurung, said that the company has contributed on development and expansion of the telecommunication sector.


“The company is committed at providing quality service to customers. NT will also work to further strengthen its market share”, he added.
