Number of Demat accounts crosses 5 million

KATHMANDU, Sept 21: The number of Demat account holders has crossed five million in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Sept 21: The number of Demat account holders has crossed five million in Nepal.



According to the data of  CDSC, the number of people who have opened Demat accounts so far has reached five million. The number of ‘mero share’ users has also increased significantly.

According to CDSC, the number of ‘mero share’ users has reached four million. The number of mutual funds is 36, the number of DP operators is 81 and the number of banks registered in C-ASBA has reached 55.
