MUGU, Nov 7: The Rara Lake, which is also known as the Rara Daha, is the biggest lake in Nepal. It lies in Mugu district.

The lake keeps changing its color which is another characteristic of the Rara Lake.  This makes the viewers feel as if time has stopped.


 Quiet in the morning, Rara becomes more active toward the sunset.


The waves become so intense that they hit the coast hard as a monsoon fed rivulet does during monsoon.
