Old man drowns

CHITWAN, July 30: A local of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-23, Siddhartha Chowk died after being drowned in the Rapti river while fishing.

CHITWAN, July 30: A local of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-23, Siddhartha Chowk died after being drowned in the Rapti river while fishing.



The District Police Office, Chitwan confirmed that Bam Bahadur Bal, 63, died after he was drowned in the river nearby the Chitwan National Park.

Police informed that Bal died on Sunday evening when he suddenly fell into the river in course of hooking fish. 


His dead body has been taken to Bharatpur Hospital for post-mortem. RSS
