One arrested for call bypass

GAUSHALA, June 20: Mahottari police has arrested a person on the charge of his involvement in call bypass in the district.

GAUSHALA, June 20: Mahottari police has arrested a person on the charge of his involvement in call bypass in the district. 



The arrested is Mohammad Ajamat, 31, of Jaleshwor Municipality-5. According to the District Police Office, Mahottari, Ajamat was involved in call bypass by running a call centre for the past one and half months.

Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Lamsal said that different equipments used for call bypass including router, microwave antenna UPS, power board, two mobile sets and two speakers, recharge cards, among others were seized from the call centre. Investigation into the incident was underway keeping Ajamat under custody at the District Police Office. 

Meanwhile, a child was killed in a road accident at Bardibas-3 on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Aditya Thapa, 6, son of Ghanshyam Thapa. 


The incident took place when a truck (Na 4 Kha 4295) heading towards Sindhuli from Bardibas hit the child, who was playing near his house, said police. RSS
