KATHMANDU, Jan 30: The police have arrested a man from Ilam on the charge of engaging in cryptocurrency transactions.

The Valley Crime Investigation Office reported that Dambar Bahadur Shah, 26, who was returning from Taplejung, was arrested in Ilam.
SSP Somendra Singh Rathore, the head of the office, revealed that Shah had conducted transactions amounting to Rs 1.49 billion over the span of two years using Cash App.
