One buried to dead, two missing in landslide in Sindupalchowk

MELAMCHI, Oct 1: One person died and two others from same household have gone missing when a rain-triggered landslide occurred at Ramche-8 in Sindhupalchowk district on Saturday morning.

MELAMCHI, Oct 1: One person died and two others from same household have gone missing when a rain-triggered landslide occurred at Ramche-8 in Sindhupalchowk district on Saturday morning. 



The landslide that fell at 2 am on the house of Chandrakanta Timilsina at Purano Gaun buried Chandrakant's eldest son Ram Kumar Timilsina. Ram kumar died on the spot. 



Similarly, Chandrakant's youngest son Uddav Timilsina and youngest daughter-in-law Samjhana Timilsina have been missing following the incident. 



According to Police Inspector at Area Police Office, Barabise, Raju Pandey, Chandrakantha and his eldest daughter-in-law could flee to safety as the disaster hit. 



Police and locals are searching for the missing ones. RSS
