KOTHANG, April 24: A person died and 22 others were injured when a pilgrims-carrying bus met with an accident at Bhauni Danda of Halesi Tuwachung Municipality-1 on Saturday morning.
The ill-fated bus (Ba 3 Kha 9285) met with the accident while returning from the Halesi Mahadev Temple.

The deceased has been identified as Anil Tamang, about 18 years, of Sindhupalchowk district. He was the bus helper.
Likewise, around 22 people have sustained injuries in the accident, according to the District Police Office, Khotang. “Of them, nine have sustained serious injuries.”
The bus was carrying 35 people including the driver and his helper.
