KATHMANDU, March 21: One person was killed and eight others sustained injuries when a jeep heading towards Kathmandu from Hetauda met with an accident in Dakshinkali.

According to the Pharphing Police, the jeep with registration number (NA 1 JHA 3424) met with an accident at Shital Chowk of Dakshinkali Municipality-8, killing one person on the spot.
According to the police, eight others who were injured in the accident were sent to Manmohan Hospital for treatment. The police said that the jeep driver has been detained and is being interrogated.
