HARIWAN, Jan 7: A Scorpio jeep met with an accident at Laxmipur of Haripur municipality-6 in Sarlahi along the Nawalpur-Malangawa road section this morning, killing one on the spot and leaving five others injured.
One dead, five hurt in jeep accident
The jeep (BR 06 PD 3637) en route to Nawalpur from the district headquarters Malangawa hit a he-buffalo before meeting with the accident. Police confirmed the death of Indian national Pramod Sada, 38, in the accident.
The injured are Sanjay Sada, 35, Akalaya Devi, 30, and her one-year-old daughter Radhika Kumari, Amarjeet Ram, 40, and jeep driver Mohammad Raftat, 30, of Sasapur, Hariwan municipality-4 and they are being at the Namuna Hospital Hariwan. Further investigation into the accident is underway, said Area Police Office, Haripur's police inspector Bikram Shah.
