DAMAULI, June 21: One person died in an accident today in Abu Khaireni Rural Municipality-2 Eklaphant along the Prithvi highway in Tanahun.
According to the District Police Office, Tanahun, the person was killed when a motorcycle number (Ba 70 P 9474) overtook a cargo truck (Na 6 B 3016) en route to Lamjung from Muglin.

The deceased has been identified as Chandra Bahadur Gurung, 58, of Sundarbazar Municipality-9 of Lamjung. He was riding a motorcycle.
Raju Gurung, 55, resident of Budhanilkantha Municipality-3 in Kathmandu, was injured in the accident. He has been sent to Abu Khaireni Hospital for treatment.
