DANG, June 8: One of the 33 passengers was killed while the remaining sustained injuries after a night-service passenger bus en route to Nepalgunj from Janakpur.
The accident took place early morning today at Rapti rural municipality-5. The deceased has been identified as Murabi Mohammed of Laxmipur-5, India, according to Area Police Office, Lamahi said adding that those injured were undergoing treatment at Lamahi Hospital.

According to Rabindra Raj Pandey, police inspector at Area Police Office, Bhaluwang said that the bus had tipped off in a local canal, probably after the bus’s driver fell asleep.
