SINDHUPALCHWOK, Nov 22: Basu Basnet, 22 of Nuwakot was killed after a bus en route to Kavre from Sindhupalchowk hit his motorcycle on Monday.
According to Police Inspector Tikaram Rai at the Area Police Office, Melamchi, the bus (Ba 4 Cha 7766) hit the motorcycle (02020 Ba P 2114) at Bahinipati of Sindhupalchowk at around 8 AM on Monday.

Locals have vandalized the bus after Basnet was killed in the collision. Police have started an investigation while the bus driver is on the run.
The deceased Basnet was an employee of Mero Finance Company in Melamchi. Police said that preparations are being made to bring his body to Melamchi for autopsy.
