DHARAN, April 15: A three-wheeler driver was killed and another person was seriously injured when a bus and the three-wheeler collided on the Koshi Highway at Dharan-4 on Friday morning.

According to the Area Police Office, Dharan, the accident took place at around 7 in the morning. The deceased has been identified as Khadga Bishwakarma, 45, of Dharan-17. Police Inspector Gajendra Rai said that the old residence of the deceased is Bharaul in Barahakshetra Municipality of Sunsari but was currently living in Dharan-17.
Similarly, Usha Limbu, 15, of Taplejung, who was in the three-wheeler, was injured in the incident. She is undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. According to the police, the three-wheeler was coming to Dharan from the tourist spot of Bhedetar while the passenger bus was going to Bhedetar from Dharan.
