LAHAN, March 28: A man died in a road accident that took place in Bastipur of Karjana municipality, on the east-west highway last night. The accident took place when a motorcycle hit a tractor (Sa. 1 Ta. 3777) while trying to overtake it.

The deceased has been identified as the motorcycle rider Ramesh Shah,27, of ward no. 4 of the same municipality. He died on the spot, according to the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya.
Mohammad Irfan Sheikh,17, of ward no. 10 of the municipality, who was pillion riding the motorcycle, was injured. He is undergoing treatment at the Mangalam hospital in Mirchaiya. RSS
