Nepalaya’s micro event series, Paleti is all set to continue from Friday after an interval. The event series will start from February 22 to 24 at its regular venue, Nepalaya’s sala.
Since the inception of this micro-event series, around 50 musical icons have performed at Paleti’s stage. The first ever Paleti was organized in 2005, aiming to present solo performances of people engaged in music from the time of nostalgically recalled.
Nepal gears up for Women’s Asia Cup opener against UAE
According to a press statement, the multiple shows have been organized because of greater interest amongst music enthusiasts and also due to limited space at the venue.
As the show is titled ‘Celebrating Women in Nepali Music’, the three-day event will explore Women of Nepali music followed by celebrating their contributions.
At the event, Meena Niraula will sing songs that will reflect the journey of women and their contribution toward Nepali music. The show will be narrated by Paleti’s co-ordinator, Aavaas.
