KATHMANDU, May 14: The Patan High Court is hearing cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane’s appeal against the Kathmandu District Court’s decision on a rape case filed against him.
In the initial verdict, the Kathmandu District Court sentenced Sandeep to eight years of imprisonment for raping Gaushala 26.

Subsequently, Sandeep lodged an appeal with the Patan High Court, where the case has faced postponement on five occasions.
