KATHMANDU , March 19: People's representatives and locals of Lalitpur have met President Ramchandra Paudel.
In the meeting held today at Sheetal Niwas, the people's representatives of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Mahalaxmi and Godavari municipalities met and congratulated Paudel on being elected to the post of president and wished him a successful tenure.

Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan, Godavari Municipality Mayor Gajendra Maharjan and Mahalaxmi Municipality Deputy Mayor Laxmi Maharjan along with members of the executive committee of those municipalities participated in the meeting.
The books written by the late Satya Mohan Joshi, a culture scholar, published by the LMC, and LMC’s mouthpiece were handed over to the president by Maharjan, the head of LMC.
Similarly, the head of Godavari Municipality Gajendra Maharjan also handed over the mouthpiece of Godavari Municipality.
