KATHMANDU, Dec 29: The Puspha Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on Tuesday is staging a nation-wide protest against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
The two chairmen of the faction, Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal, are scheduled to address the public at the Exhibition Road at Kathmandu. Meanwhile, other key leaders of the Dahal-Nepal led NCP faction have reached various districts.

A central committee meeting of the NCP's rival faction on December 24 decided to take to the streets against the government's decision to dissolve parliament.
The rival faction within the NCP will be holding demonstrations and protests until December.
Following the dissolution of the lower house and a vertical split in the ruling NCP, protests and demonstrations have erupted across the country.
