KATHMANDU, March 20:  Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has accused the CPN-UML and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) of moving toward political instability.

He said this while seeking a vote of confidence for the second time in the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday.

"It is a matter of concern that two parties which promised stability are indifferent to instability," said Dahal. He mentioned that although there were some differences between these parties in the past, it was agreed that there would be no differences between the coalition partners. "But the other side did not work as agreed," Dahal added.

He said that within two months, the decision to withdraw the support to the government will be defended by the decision makers. "Until now, there has been no official statement as to why the vote of confidence was withdrawn," Prime Minister Dahal said.

He has expressed his belief that the people will also evaluate him on the issue of no confidence vote and withdrawal.

Prime Minister Dahal took the vote of confidence for the first time on January 10, 2023.
