KATHMANDU, Feb 22: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli have held a meeting.
In the meeting took place at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar, the two leaders discussed contemporary politics and the election of the President and Vice President.

Political meetings have intensified with the date for nomination of candidacy for the presidential election drawing closer. The CPN (Maoist Center) is insisting on national consensus on the President. Prime Minister Dahal is the chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) and the party has given him the responsibility of taking decisions regarding the presidential election.
The nomination for the presidential election is taking place on February 25 and the election to the President is scheduled for March 9.
