PM Oli and two former PMs play flute and sarangi at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU, Feb 4: In the picture, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and two senior leaders of the ruling Nepal Communist Party Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal are seen playing tunes with their flute and sarangi.



On the stage, ex-PMs Nepal and Khanal are seen playing sarangi and PM Oli is seen playing with his flute.

The picture, which is now going viral on social media, was taken during a cultural event organized at the Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar, on Tuesday evening.


The special cultural performance was held in coordination with Madan Bhandari Art, Literature Academy and Nepal Academy of Music and Drama.


Central secretariat members of ruling NCP with their spouses and editors of mainstream media also attended the program.


Most of the unique Nepali musical instruments were displayed during the program. Following the program, the picture was shared on social media by the press advisor to PM Oli Surya Thapa.
