PM Oli, top leaders participating in virtual conference to be addressed by Chinese Prez Xi

KATHMANDU, July 6: Top leaders of major political parties including the Prime Minister K P Oli are expected to attend a global conference on political parties to mark the centenary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party.

KATHMANDU, July 6: Top leaders of major political parties including the Prime Minister K P Oli are expected to attend a global conference on political parties to mark the centenary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party.



Along with Prime Minister Oli, Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Central) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Janata Samajbadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav and Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Pashupati Shamsher Rana are expected to participate in the virtual conference to be organized by the CPC on Tuesday.

Chinese President and General Secretary of the Communist Party Xi Jinping will attend the conference, according to the party's International Department. CPC International Department stated on Monday that the virtual conference on ‘Public Interest and Responsibility of Political Parties’ will be attended by 500 leaders and 1,000 representatives from various political parties and political organizations from more than 160 countries.
