KATHMANDU, Mar 27: Addressing foreign diplomats and development partners, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that the government’s key motto would be ‘amity with all, and enmity with none.’

As part of new foreign policy, Oli said that the government would do its best to promote the country’s image as an inclusive democratic State at the international level as well as advancing the cause of Nepal’s socio-economic development. “These two will remain our two intrinsic diplomatic goals.”

Amid speculations that the country’s left alliance government would forge deeper ties with China, Oli said, “Nepal enjoys cordial and friendly relation with both our immediate neighbors, India and China and we are thankful to our neighbors for all their goodwill and support toward our national aspirations. We look forward to further strengthening these relations at all levels of our cooperation.”
