Police arrest three district leaders of outlawed Chand-led party

BIRATNAGAR, June 24: Police have arrested three district leaders of outlawed Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) with weapons on Monday.

BIRATNAGAR, June 24: Police have arrested three district leaders of outlawed Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) with weapons on Monday.

Ashok Rai, Kendra Lal Dhimal and Kansha Dhimal were arrested with an automatic pistol, gun magazines and 14 rounds of bullets, according to Morang District Police Office. It is learned that Rai is chief of the CPN's Morang People's Council.
