Police in plain clothes on Sunday raided a hotel and arrested some people in compromising positions. The hotel proprietor has also been arrested on the charge of forcing women into prostitution, according to District Police Chief Nawaraj Bhatta. Other women taken under control from the hotel have said they were getting Rs 500 each every time from the hotel owner to be available for clients. 


Plainclothes police these days have intensified surveillance in the town mainly in the morning, and night in a bid to stop sex trade, he added.(RSS)
