KATHMANDU, July 21: Police fired shots to arrest drug smugglers from Manhari of Makwanpur on Saturday night.

A team of police arrested Kumar Syangtan, 43, who had been involved in the hashish smuggling for long. Police seized 35 kilograms of hashish.
According to Superintendent of Police at the Police Headquarters, Ramesh Thapa, police opened fire based on information that five persons were smuggling drugs.
