KATHMANDU, April 4: Prabhu Bank Ltd, in collaboration with Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh (NNJS), has organized an eye camp at Raniyapur VDC of Banke district under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, it said in a statement.

According to the bank, more than 250 people received eye check-ups at the camp. It said it also distributed free medicine and spectacles there.
“Cataract sufferers visiting the camp will get 50 percent discounts on operations from Fattebal Eye Hospital,” the bank said, adding that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nepal National Secondary School of Argakhachi to provide support material to 10 students who had hearing problems and three disabled students there.
