Prashansha dojo becomes karate champion

KATHMANDU, July 17: Prashansha dojo has been declared as champion of the First Madan Bhandari School Level National Karate Championship on Sunday.

Champion Prashansha bagged seven gold and seven silver medals in the championship while second-placed Larke Boarding School won five gold and six silver medals. Likewise, Bhanu Bhakta Higher Secondary School wrapped up the championship with third position winning four gold and four silver medals. 


Meanwhile, Dhumbarahi dojo's Karuna Rai and Devendra Magar of Bhanubhakta Memorial School were declared as best players in girls' and boys' sections respectively. Karuna bagged gold in girls' U-35 kg while Devendra Magar bagged gold in the boy's U-25 kg category.
