President Bhandari underscores common viewpoint on development agenda

BIRATNAGAR, Dec 24: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has urged all political parties to move ahead on development agendas by forging a common view ground. 



Speaking at a program 'Madan Village Program for Development and Prosperity' organized by the Madan Bhandari Memorial Foundation at Itahara-8 in Morang on Saturday, President Bhandari suggested the parliamentarians demand development budget for the district by rising above their partisan interests. 



Recalling her efforts towards peace and development of the country during her time as a parliamentarian, the first female President of the country reaffirmed her sense of duty by stating that she was still effortful to help realize the public's aspirations for peace and development in the country. 



Furthermore, the Head of the State asked the public to raising their voice to pitch for development in their place. 



President Bhandari outlined the development of health facilities, drinking water and education for Itahara VDC where she has her ancestral home. 



She was of the confidence that the Madan Bhandari Memorial Foundation would carry on its activities aimed at uplifting societies. 



The program was chaired by Foundation's President Guru Prasad Baral where speakers like Gopal Guragain, Shivaraj Poudel among others had expressed their views. RSS
